Conjurer through to Trickster. Each one has brand-new tricks, so the children never repeat a trick.
Nine wands to collect
After collecting every sticker in the book, children are awarded a magic wand as a prize! With a new colour wand to collect for each book.
Every prop included
All the props needed to perform the tricks in the booklet are included in the affordable termly cost. Nothing extra for parents to buy.
Collect the holographic stickers
Children collect stickers every week by completing the trick. As well as weekly trick stickers, once a term children collect holographic stickers, progressing up to the next level each term they continue. These always prove to be hugely exciting for the children, who all want to earn their way to the rarer stickers!
Nine wands to collect
After completing each magic book, children earn a magic wand as a prize. There are nine wands to collect, a different colour for each book.

Sign your child up
Register your child for the magic club at their school. It takes a couple of minutes, and you can sign up for the term ahead at any point.

to launch your club
Before the club begins, we come in and perform a magic show assembly for the whole school — free. The children see what they could be learning, and sign-ups follow the same week.
Setting a club up takes one email

Before school, lunchtime or after school. A session can run from 30 minutes to an hour.
Promote
We perform a promotional assembly, then provide an e-flyer and handle the sign-up process.

Welcome to the club
Hello, I’m Richard Kettle — professional magician and founder of Ketsy’s Young Magicians.
I started running magic clubs in schools back in 2011, and ever since then I’ve loved developing the magic and our sticker booklets into what they are today.
The idea is simple: every child who takes part should leave the club with amazing magic tricks they feel confident to perform for their friends and family.
But it’s about much more than learning tricks. As children practise their magic, perform it for different audiences and see the reactions they get, they naturally begin to develop confidence, communication skills and a real sense of achievement.
There’s nothing quite like the feeling as a child of performing a trick to adults or friends and hearing them say, “How did you do that?!”
I hope the children enjoy learning, practising and performing their magic as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

The things schools ask
What age is the club for?
Our clubs are for Years 1 to 6. The tricks and tuition are adapted to be age-appropriate for the children taking part.
Do children need to buy anything?
No. Props and the termly booklet are included. Children keep their booklet and stickers.
How many children can join?
Most clubs run at 15 to 25. Larger groups are fine with notice.
Are your leaders DBS checked?
Yes, all of our club leaders are DBS checked and on the update service. They also undergo regular training, including safeguarding training and Benedict’s Law training. We also provide a risk assessment and public liability insurance.
Which areas do you cover?
Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, and a little beyond. Ask if you’re near the edge.
