Building each child’s confidence
Not a magic show they watch. A weekly club where children aged Year 1 to Year 6 learn real tricks with real props, practise them until they work, then perform them.
Learn
A brand-new trick every week, taught with real magic props.
Practise
Time in the session to get it right, with a leader watching their hands.
Perform
Then they amaze you with it the moment they get home.

Nine booklets · nine wands
Nine levels of magic to work through
Every booklet teaches completely different tricks — no repeats, no filler. Children move up a level each term, and every completed booklet earns the magic wand for that level.

Step-by-step photographs inside every booklet, so children can practise at home
Nine booklets, nine levels — a new one every term
Nine different booklets
Conjurer through to Alchemist. Each one teaches brand-new tricks, so a child can stay in the club from Year 1 to Year 6 and never repeat a lesson.
Nine wands to collect
Fill a booklet with stickers and the wand for that level is presented in front of the whole club. A different colour every time.
Every prop included
All the props needed to perform the tricks in the booklet are included in the affordable termly cost. Nothing extra for parents to buy.
Collect the holographic stickers
Every trick mastered earns a sticker for the booklet — and among them are the shiny holographic ones, numbered one to six. Children swap news of who has which one the way they do football cards.
Some are rarer than others…Nine wands to collect
One for every booklet completed, presented in front of the whole club. A different colour each time — and children remember exactly which ones they are missing.

Welcome to the club
Hello, I’m Richard Kettle — professional magician and founder of Ketsy’s Young Magicians.
I started running magic clubs in schools back in 2011, and ever since then I’ve loved developing the magic, the teaching and, in particular, our sticker booklets into what they are today.
The idea is simple: every child who takes part should leave the club with real magic tricks they can perform for their friends and family.
But it’s about much more than learning tricks. As children practise their magic, perform it for different audiences and see the reactions they get, they naturally begin to develop confidence, communication skills and a real sense of achievement.
There’s nothing quite like seeing a child perform a trick they’ve mastered and hearing their friends say, “How did you do that?!”
I hope you enjoy learning, practising and performing your magic as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.
Welcome to the club.

The things schools ask
What ages is it for?
Year 1 to Year 6. The same tricks work across the range — the coaching is what changes.
Do children need to buy anything?
No. Props and the termly booklet are included. Children keep their booklet and stickers.
How many children can join?
Most clubs run at 15 to 25. Larger groups are fine with notice.
Are your leaders checked?
Every leader holds an enhanced DBS certificate. We carry public liability insurance and send both across before we start.
Which areas do you cover?
Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, and a little beyond. Ask if you’re near the edge.
